It's time to tell!
Well, It's time to tell! Those of you that read my last post, probably have some idea about what I am about to reveal. There were even a few of you that commented on the particular statement that I made in that post. Well, sorry that I lied to a few of you about it, (Kristin, Denae, Hollie) but I wanted to wait until just the right time, and I couldn't tell my friends before our families were told. We had a surprise birthday party for Craig on Friday night, and at that time, we were able to tell all of our family and close friends. Not that those of you that were not at the party aren't close friends, but we felt like it was the right time to tell. We had originally wanted to wait a few more weeks, but when Craig was surrounded by all of his family, and friends that mean so much to him, he just couldn't keep it in any longer. So here it is. We are pregnant with our THIRD child! Crazy! I am seven weeks, so we have only really known for 3 weeks. I originally wanted to wait until I was farther along, maybe 12 or 13 weeks, but I have found that after having two children already, my wonderful abs (haha) aren't what they used to be, and I am unfortunately ALREADY getting a small belly. Or maybe I'm just fat, either way, I wasn't going to be able to wait 5 to 6 more weeks to spill the beans. So there it is.! That is my secret, and again, I am so sorry to those of you that I lied to about it. I wanted to tell you all, I really did.
P.S. I will post pictures of the party soon. We had such a good time, and Craig was so surprised.

A Little Now...More Later!
Sorry I haven't posted anything new in a while. We have had a crazy summer and it looks like it is only going to get crazier. Craig is in New York as I write, and has been there since Friday. He is with a bunch of friends watching way too many major league baseball games, and just hanging out doing whatever it is guys do. So, here I am in Lubbock, at work to be exact, dreaming of my next vacation, which looks like it will be in about a week and a half. We are going to San Antonio with friends to hang out for 4 days, then we will come back to Lubbock, only to leave again 1 day later for a b-day trip for Craig's 30th birthday, compliments of his wife. It was going to be a surprise, but I accidentally let the cat out of the bag. OOPS! We will also be heading to Abilene after all of this crazieness to meet my new niece Anna Grace, who will be here soon (hopefully August 20th, on Craig's birthday). YEAH! Anyways, as soon as I get back from my traveling, I will post pictures and I'm sure, more great stories.
P.S. Craig is also going to start building our house in the next few months (he says in 2 months, but we will see), so I will post pictures of the progress. We soooooo need a bigger house, especially now. :)

Summer Vacation
Reece is always stripping down to just her diaper.
(I wish this picture was bigger, but I am no computer genius, so I have no idea how to fix it.)
Mason and his cousin Kaden. They are "best buddies" as Mason would say.
We just recently got back from our yearly family reunion at Lake Whitney. We have a blast every year, and this year was no exception. There were thirty something of us there this year, and even though we were missing a few, we still had fun.

It's Been A While!
So I guess it's been too busy around my house to blog, yet I can't really recall what has made me so busy. I mean, we have been out of town every weekend for the last month and a half for graduations, vacations, and to see family. We where in Kerrville all of last week, and all the while I have been working. Only three nights a week each week, so I just can't imagine why in the world I haven't had time to blog.
Everyone is doing great! Craig has been so busy at work. He now has 3 full-time employees and is now looking for a full-time secretary. It is crazy to think that just last year it was only Craig and one other guy. The Lord continues to amaze me everyday! I on the other hand am still doing the Nursing thing. I still work with pediatrics, and I still love it. Mason is growing-up faster than ever. He is completely potty trained, he can dress himself, and just the other day, Craig found him in the bathtub bathing himself. He undressed himself, turned the water on, and got right on in. To top it all off, he starts pre-school next year. Reece is 18 months old and is in the process of being potty trained. She talks in full sentences, although sometimes you can't understand a word of what she is saying, and she is turning out to be quite tall for her age. 95th percentile to be exact. I have a feeling that both of my children will be taller than I ever thought about being. We can't wait for vacation, or should I say vacations, and we look forward to many days of swimming in Lolli and Pop's pool. (that would be my parents) We have several trips planned for the summer, so my hope is that I can blog about each excursion.

3 YEARS!
Three years ago, God gave us an amazing gift. A gift that I never could have imagined would be so great. That gift was Mason Lane Roberson. He will be three on the 26th, and I have to say that my life has been so much fuller because of him. He is loving and kind and has such a sweet, sweet heart. He loves his sister (most of the time), and is always giving her hugs and saying sweet things to her. I love it the most when he puts his hands on my face and says, "Mommy, your my girl!" (He got that from his Dad) He is passionate and strong willed like his Mom, yet he is quiet, and tender hearted like his Dad. He loves Jesus, and reminds us daily that "God made the moon". He loves to sing, especially if it's Shane and Shane or George Strait (AKA "Cowboy Strait") and he loves to dance with his Daddy. He loves to read to his sister and he loves to play ball outside with her too. He loves to work with Daddy and use Daddy's tools, and he loves to help Mom cook and take out the trash. I would go on forever if I could, about how amazing He is.
I love my sweet boy, and he makes my heart happier than he will ever know. I love you Moose!

Bon Jovi
We took a little trip to Dallas to see Bon Jovi this last weekend. I was never a BJ fan, however, Craig is a huge fan. I was only two when Bon Jovi was in his prime, so I didn't grow up listening to Him. Craig has been a fan for pretty much all of his life. We had a lot of fun, and we even got to see Tony Romo and Jason Whitten from the Dallas Cowboys.
We also went to the Kidd Craddick in the Morning show, and had pictures taken with all of them.
Craig is again a huge fan of theirs. (this weekend was really all for Craig, and I was just along for the ride) Casey and Dana Brewer went as well, which made it alot more fun for me.
I love my husband so much and I truly love getting to go on trips with him, even if we are doing things that I don't really enjoy. I'll post pictures later of our visit with Kidd Craddick.

Our Weekend in Ohio.
We had a great time in Ohio for Shane and Beth's wedding. For those of you who don't know, all of the groomsmen and their wives took Shane and Shane's buses, which was fun, but long. When I say long, I mean 24 hours one way to be exact. It was tons of fun, and we loved getting to spend time with our close friends. The buses were great! However, I don't know how they live on them for most of the year while they are on tour. Here are a few of the pic's from our trip.
The Shane's before the ceremony.
Beau and Kimberly Hughes.
Craig and Magen
The Everett's!
Craig and Jeremy being stupid! (surprise, surprise)
The Roberson's
Shane E., Jeremy, and Craig
Me and Keith
I think Jeremy had his picture taken with everyone in the room, and I'm not joking.
We had so much fun and we look forward to the next time we can all get together again. Maybe if Jeremy would find a women, we could do it again sooner than later.

Four Years!!!
A little over five years ago, while on a ski retreat to the lake with the youth group that I was helping out with, I met my husband. I didn't know that then, but only 1 short month after that initial visit, I knew. I knew that Michael Craig Roberson was the man that my amazing Lord had hand picked just for me. (Also thanks to Casey and Dana Brewer for the introduction) On March 27, 2004, we were married. It has been the greatest 4 years of my life, and like I told him just the other night, I love him more everyday. He is absolutely the greatest Husband, not to mention the greatest Dad, and I love having the privilege of spending my life with him.
We had to celebrate our anniversary early this year, due to the fact that we will be in Ohio for Shane and Beth's wedding. I guess it won't kill me to celebrate someones Else's nuptials on my anniversary. I look forward to the bus ride with Craig and all of our crazy friends, so I won't be too upset that I'm not off somewhere in the Bahamas with Craig celebrating 4 years of bliss. Maybe next year? :)

God is So Good!
A little over a year ago, my OB-Gyn found a tumor on my thyroid gland while doing a physical exam. Because of his findings, he ordered blood work to check my thyroid levels. He found that my levels were very low, and immediately started me on thyroid supplements. He never really gave me a reason for my levels being low, and when I asked why I would have a tumor on my thyroid, he stated that it could be just inflammation from my thyroid having to work overtime to produce more hormones. I was okay with that answer for a while, but because I could feel the tumor myself, and because I was becoming increasingly tired and run down, I decided to take it upon myself to make an appointment with an Endocrinologist. Endocrinologists deal with the study of the endocrine system, which includes the thyroid.
Almost one month after my initial Doctors visit, I had an appointment with the Endocrinologist. During that visit, my blood levels were drawn, only to find that my thyroid levels were still very low. He also performed an ultrasound to get an idea of the size of the tumors. Before I left, he explained to me that he was concerned about the size of the tumors, and was also concerned about the lab results. He told me that he didn't want me to be alarmed, but he felt like the tumors were cancerous. He said that if that were the case and these tumors were cancer, then I would have to have radiation treatments to shrink the tumors, then have my thyroid gland removed. He explained to me that very rarely does cancer that begins in the thyroid travel to other areas of the body. I also remember him saying that if he had to choose any type of cancer to have, that he would choose thyroid cancer. He immediately scheduled me for a biopsy of my thyroid the next day.
Craig was out of town on business, so when I called to tell him all that the Doctor had said, he was very upset, and wanted to immediately come home so that he could be there for the biopsy. I told him that everything was going to be okay, and that I would have Mom go with me to the hospital the next day. Craig prayed with me over the phone, and prayed that the Lord would heal my body and take away all sickness. I didn't tell many people about what was going on. I called my immediate family and grandparents, but I told no one else. My family immediately began praying for my healing, and I remember very clearly my Dad praying that when the doctor went in to biopsy the tumors, that they would no longer be there.
While I was lying on the stretcher all alone in the ultrasound room awaiting my biopsy, I began to pray. I remember talking to the Lord and telling him that I didn't want to have cancer, even if the Doctor told me that thyroid cancer was the best cancer to have. I told him that no cancer was good, and I didn't want it in my body. I clearly remember speaking against this sickness that was taking over my thyroid, and my body, and I asked the Lord to remove it all from me.
Several minutes later, the radiologist entered the room and began setting-up for the biopsy. At that moment I felt a peace like I have never known. I was completely calm, knowing that there is nothing my God cannot conquer, and I knew at that moment that he had conquered my sickness. The Radiologist began the ultrasound in order to find the tumors. After several minutes of searching all over my neck, he paused, and asked what exactly he was supposed to be looking for, because he could see nothing. I immediately grabbed my neck to feel of what had been tumors, and I felt nothing. What I had felt ten minutes prior to the procedure, was now gone. What the ultrasound had shown just one day prior was no longer there. My God had taken them away!
I just recently went for another ultrasound of my thyroid to ensure that the tumors had not returned. They haven't! I must now have ultrasounds once a year for the rest of my life, but it will only be to once again prove that my God is the ultimate healer.

Life is GOOD!
Well, I guess it's been a while since I have posted a new blog, so I thought I would get on and say a few things. There's not really much to say, however, my birthday was on the 6th of March. I am now 26, which means I am just that much closer to being 30. Yuck!! (nothing against those of you who are already there)
I love shoes, so being that I got 9 pair in one day means that my birthday was amazing. I also got a bunch of clothes, which was great, because when you have kids, you tend to spend your money on them rather than buy for yourself. The kids got me a new pair of tennis shoes, to go along with my ever-growing tennis shoe collection, as you can see from the picture. (That's 13 pair of tennis shoes. Pretty disgusting!) This only makes up about 1/8 of my shoes, so I can't wait to have a bigger closet to display all of them in.

Besides receiving all my great shoes and clothes, I also got tickets to see George Strait. (It was a great concert!) So, needless to say, life is good. We haven't done much besides sit at home with our kids, but that is to me, as good as it gets. I can't imagine having more fun.

This is Mason sitting with Craig before bedtime. He looks so happy! And of course this is Reece eating, which makes her very happy as you can see. Just spending time with these two and Craig is really the best birthday present I could ever have.

Happy Valentines Day/ Happy Anniversary!
Craig and I had a Great time this last weekend, when we celebrated Valentine's Day and our Anniversary early. Because I have to work on Valentine's Day and we will be out of town for Shane and Beth's wedding on our anniversary, we, or I guess I should say "I" decided to celebrate them both this last weekend. I am not even close to being the most romantic girl I know, and usually Craig is the one that does all the romancing in our relationship. It is because of that that I decided to plan something fun.
I decided that we needed to get away from the house for a night without the kids, so I booked us a room at Embassy Suits. I also made us reservations at Las Brisas steak house, which by the way was amazing. I had asked Mom and Dad if the kids could spend the night with them, so before Craig got home, I dropped them off at their house. I had already packed a bag and taken it to the hotel, so that Craig would have no idea what I had planned. I even went so far as to buy him a new tooth brush and deodorant so that I wouldn't have to pack his without him knowing. We had a really good time. We were in bed by 9:00, and we slept in the next morning. It was so great to get away with my husband, even if it was just down the road to a hotel. Craig was so surprised, and he just kept saying "is this really happening" I loved that he had no idea about my plans and that he had a good time. I love sharing my life with such an amazing man, and I can't wait for the rest of my life with him.

Our New House!
Well, our New House is almost complete! (On paper that is.) Our final plans will be finished in the next week. Yeah! I cannot tell you how excited I am to finaly be living in my very own home. Craig is going to venture outside the world of Gutters, Sprinkler Systems and Fences, and into the world of Home Building. Our house will be the first on his list. We have already found land, so the next step will be to begin getting estimates on framing, concrete, cabinets, etc. It is looking like it will be about 8-9 months before we move in, but it will be well worth it in the end.
For Christmas I asked for Gift Cards, New bedding, and furniture for the new house, which I received, and now I have to wait unitl I have the house before I can move it all in. My garage is full of new things just waiting to be put to use. Craig's Mom Debbie is an Interior Decorator, so as far as colors, flooring, and everything "decorating" has to offer, will be at my disposal.
The plan is to live in the house for at least 2 years, then build a new house. We will continue that process for 10-12 years then hopefully be mortgage free. What a blessing that will be. (I wonder if then I could quit working all together :) My house will have three bedrooms, three baths, an office and a basement. It isn't huge, but it will be just right for the four of us. I will post pictures just as soon as the house begins to take shape, so stay tuned!
